Most Anticipated Smartphones In 2019
was a very successful year for the mobile phone industry. We saw many new features like multi-camera setups, bezel-less displays, a new aspect ratio of 18:9 and smartphones with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. Smartphones have features that futureproof them for quite a few years now. However, smartphones continue to evolve, and we are bound to see some cool new phones in 2019. In the Mobile World Conference 2018, we got a glimpse at the various new phones that we will find in the markets next year by companies like Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi and other manufacturers.
Here are some of the most anticipated smartphones that are going to come in 2019:
Samsung has been working foldable phone technology for years and even has given some sneak peeks into the developed phones for past 2 years, but 2019 is the year a real foldable phone is expected from Samsung. It has been named Samsung Galaxy F, which was previously seen at a Samsung Developer Conference held in November this year
It is expected to have a 7.3-inch screen when unfolded and a 4.6-inch screen when folded. It may have standard features like two 12 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie camera. It is likely to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 processor. To power this behemoth of a device, it will pack 6000 mAh battery capacity.
It may be released in late Q2 of 2019.
With the new foldable phone technology and packing such hardware, its price is expected to be around $1,800, or INR 1,25,000 (approx.)
Samsung Galaxy S10
Coming next in this list is the next iteration of Samsung’s flagship S series, the Galaxy S10. While Galaxy F is the future of the mobile phones, S10 will probably be the more commonly found smartphone once it releases. Like its previous generations, S10 will be accompanied by two more options, with one of them being the S10 Plus.
According to the latest reports, we may see devices with 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.4-inch screens. The latter two phones are also believed to pack curved displays like the Edge counterparts of older S series devices, while the smallest device will only have a flat screen. The S10 devices may include triple rear camera setup. The more expensive models will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 on board and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
It may be launched on February 20, 2019
is expected to cost around $720, or INR 50,000.
It has become a norm of Apple to release new iPhone devices every year to compete with the latest offerings of its rivals.
The new iPhones are reported to have OLED panel with in-built touch sensitivity, which means we may see in-display fingerprint sensor finally. And since the display has in-built touch sensitivity, this allows for a thinner design as well. Apple is reportedly keeping its dual camera setup for the back. While the iPhone XS and XS Max had the revolutionary A12 Bionic chip, the 2019 iPhones may include a newer version, the A13 chip, which means more powerful processor and better graphics performance. However, don’t expect 5G iPhone anytime soon, because Apple is planning to delay 5G phones for a while. The screen might pack an OLED panel and it may have USB Type C port.
Coming to 2019, Apple is about to bring some new advancements to its 2018 offerings. Apple may release 3 new iPhones like every year.
There are no indications of the price of the phones yet.
When Google released Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, people were excited. They were a revolutionary piece of technology and many people wanted to get them as soon as they were released. The price tag was the limiting factor to its affordability and hence people were deprived of the awesomeness of this phone. So, Google listened to the complaints and decided to launch a budget Pixel 3 that packed all the software of the premium Pixel 3, while cutting down the costs on the hardware side.
According to the latest leaks, it is going to rock a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670, coupled with 4GB RAM and a 32Gb of internal storage. The screen might be a 5.5-inch LCD. The battery size might be similar to that of Pixel 3. But something that really goes for this phone is the camera it packs – the same 12.2MP rear camera that was found inside the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, making us wonder if we are about the get flagship phone camera quality on a budget phone.
It is expected to be released on Jan 29, 2019
It is expected to be priced at $400-$500.
How can we forget about the father of the phone that started the whole bezel-free design scheme – the Xiaomi Mi Mix. Xiaomi is well known for releasing exceptional specification mobiles at competitive price ranges, and Mi Mix 3 is no exception.
Unlike its competitors, Mi Mix 3 has given up its notch for a slide out front camera system, making the whole phone bezel-less. It sports a 6.4-inch screen with a Super AMOLED touchscreen panel. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and an Adreno 630 GPU. The most expensive Mi Mix 3 has 256GB of internal storage and a whopping 10GB of RAM! On the camera side, the main camera has dual camera setup with both cameras having a 12MP resolution, one a wide-angle lens and the other a telephoto lens. The front camera sports dual camera as well, one primary 24MP camera and the other a 2MP depth camera for perfect selfies. It is juiced by 3200 mAh battery. The best part – it has 5G support out of the box. This makes Mi Mix 3 a futureproof device and even a flagship killer.
Bringing on the third generation of the successful series, Mi Mix 3 has already started shipping in China but there are no dates on when the phone is up for a global release.
It is priced at 3,299 Yuan, or INR 33,500.

All Conveniences At Your Doorstep – A Bane Or A Boon?
Life has not been the same as before since we have started living our life around the mighty Apps on our smart phones. Starting from food to grocery from call cab to medicine, the list is bottomless. With the rapid development of technology and a host of start-ups (and some MNCs too) coming with indigenous ideas, we are no short of getting used to having every facility at our doorstep by simply clicking a few buttons on our mobile phone. Is it all good or are we becoming a little too dependent on technology, negotiating some hassles for ourselves in the process?
While conservatives have always been skeptical about the emergence of new technologies and the subsequent shifts in lifestyle, it was but obvious that they would surely come up with their opinions of the new generation becoming lazier with all these Apps bringing everything within reach. But it’s a proven fact that there are more benefits than problems that these Apps have brought to us. Take, for example, the cab booking ones like Uber and Ola. Gone are those days when office goers in metro cities were at mercy of the ‘autowalas’ and their whims and fancies. Now, the App based cabs offer more comfortable AC rides and it was definitely a welcome change for a large section of the city dwellers. A few years down the line, things are not all glory and rosy though. With a strike almost every month by the Ola and Uber driver partners, unreasonable surge price and other troubles like unruly drivers, parking issues etc., complains are a little too many. Likewise, if you visit the social media pages of the food delivery Apps like Swiggy, Zomato or UberEats, you would see swamp of negative comments by the customers venting their rage for varying reasons such as delayed delivery, non-refund of money, etc. So, coming to think of the boon of food delivery Apps, it’s again not all hunky-dory out there.
When Bigbasket brought massive thrust to their marketing campaign by bringing in Shahrukh Khan as the brand ambassador, it became a household name among Indian consumers who were not much exposed to online shopping of vegetables, meats or kitchen essentials. There is no doubt that online grocery shopping has its own benefits but like the cab booking Apps, the delivery Apps too need to have better customer service and probably better technological support.
Like all other technological innovations, the App based businesses too are going through a learning trajectory as they grow and it’s a matter of time before they fix the bugs and present more acceptable services to their customers.

The Role Of Warehousing In Today's Economy
Domestic as well as international trade is one of the largest sources of employment for thousands of people all over the world. There are a number of firms that manufacture different types of goods that are either sold in the same country or exported to other countries.
However, profitable trade would not be possible without the presence of warehousing and distribution facilities. Goods need to be stored safely so that they can be shipped to the right location at the right time depending on the demand for the same.
Thus, it is clear why more and more firms are increasingly depending on the services of a 4PL logistics provider. In the recent past, there has been a clear shift from 3PL logistics to 4PL. This is happening because fourth party logistics providers add more value to the overall inventory management and timely distribution of products. Now, it is clear that warehousing and distribution is one of the most integral parts of interstate and international trade. By outsourcing this aspect to a reputable firm, you can save significant time and money by focusing on other strategic aspects of your business.
