Bollywood is synonyms with glamour and flamboyance. It’s a big world of shinning sets, over-the-top songs, colors and vivacity, larger-than-life stories and country’s favorite superstars. But not to forget that Bollywood is also home to many brilliant actors who may not be stars but definitely hugely talented performers.
Bollywood is the only film industry in the world that produces more than 1000 movies annually and it keeps giving us truly versatile actors who always make us take note and come back for more.

Abhay Deol is a marvelous actor with films like Dev D, Shanghai, Ahista Ahista etc. in his kitty. It takes a long time before he got the recognition that he deserved unlike many other contemporary actors. He is rarely seen in the party circuits and maintains a low profile; perhaps one of the main reasons why he remains underrated till today.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui made his debut in 1999 in the movie Sarfarosh. Before joining Bollywood he was a chemist from Muzaffarnagar, UP. Siddiqui is one of the finest actors Bollywood has ever produced. His performances in Black Friday, Kahani, Gangs of Wasseypur, Gangs of Wasseypur–2, Taalash, Peepli Live, The Lunchbox and in other movies were applauded equally by the critics and the audience.
Konkona Sen Sharma

Coming from the family of famous Bengali filmmaker and actor Aparna Sen, Konkana Sen Sharma is known for her versatility. Her performance has always been appreciated by the critics. A National Award winner for the movie Life in a Metro has also delivered notable performances in Page 3, Talvar, Omkara, 15 Park Avenue etc.
Konkona’s role in Wake Up Sid was hugely popular with the masses.

An accomplished screenplay writer, actor and director Rahul Bose is another hugely underrated actor in Hindi Film industry. His choice of roles and style of acting make him a illustrious actor in parallel cinema. However, he was equally entertaining in movies like Shaurya, Chameli, Mr. and Mrs. Iyer, Before the Rains etc.

Well known for playing offbeat roles in benchmark Hindi movies, Manoj Bajpai is a renowned actor in Bollywood. His character of Sardar Khan in Gangs of Wasseypur made him a household name in India. Manoj is a successful theater artist and winner of two National Awards and four Filmfare awards.
