Phoonk is another notable Hindi horror movie directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The film was based on superstition and black magic. The movie went on to become a blockbuster. It was reported that a prize of 5 lakh was announced for those who would be able to watch this movie alone in a theatre.

Directed by Vikram K. Kumar, 13B is considered to be one of the classic Hindi horror movies. The storyline goes like this: a man moves to his new apartment only to experience a series of supernatural occurrences through a soap opera telecasted exclusively on his TV, which shows the future of his family. With its tight writing and superb casts, 13B is a spine-chilling horror story at its best.

This is an experimental movie directed by Ram Gopal Varma which is a wacky film made up of six short scary stories, leading up to a thrilling climax. The storyline shows seven friends getting stuck at a deserted place in the middle of the night when their car breaks down. They found shelter and tell one another stories to kill time till dawn.

Kaun is a benchmark movie in Bollywood. It’s an unusual movie which runs for one hour-and-a-half with no songs and only three characters. The entire story revolves around a house and scary things happening inside the house on a rainy night. The film's main protagonist is played by brilliant Urmila Matondkar, who portrays the character with intense facial expressions and body language. Her performance was ably complemented by superbly talented Manoj Bajpai in a supporting role.
